Manufacturing capability at our Ahmedabad works
Pioneer Hydraulics has manufactured hydraulic and industrial components since 2003 from the Kathwada GIDC industrial belt near Odhav, Ahmedabad. Machining, honing, plating, welding, assembly, inspection and packing all sit under our own roof, which keeps tolerances, lead times and traceability under our control rather than a sub-contractor’s.

CNC Machining
Multi-axis CNC turning and grinding for tight-tolerance components.
Precision Honing
Honing lines up to 7 m producing mirror-finish bores at H8 / H9.
Welding
MIG, TIG and automated resistance welding for structural & pressure joints.
Hard Chrome Plating
In-house electroplating line producing 20–40 μm hard chrome coating.
Quality Testing
CMM, profilometer, hardness testing and hydrostatic pressure testing.
Packaging
Export-grade marine packing with VCI protection and desiccants.
Dispatch
Documented, palletised shipping to OEMs, distributors and export buyers.
Quality control at every stage
Inspection is built into the process rather than added at the end. Incoming material, in-process dimensions and finished assemblies are all checked against the approved drawing, and records can be supplied with the consignment on request.
Quality Inspection
Every incoming lot and outgoing consignment is inspected against drawing.
Material Testing
Chemical composition and mechanical properties verified per grade.
Dimensional Accuracy
CMM, micrometer and gauge inspection to ±10 μm on critical features.
Surface Finish
Profilometer verification of Ra values on honed bores and plated rods.
Final Product Testing
Hydrostatic pressure test at 1.5× rated pressure before dispatch.
Custom & OEM manufacturing
Most of what leaves our works is built to a customer drawing. Where only an application is available, our engineers work back from the required force, stroke, pressure and mounting envelope to propose a specification for your approval before production starts. Repeat batches are manufactured to the same approved drawing held on file.
